AWS is pleased to announce that the AWS Asia Pacific (Jakarta) Region is up and running. With the largest economy in Southeast Asia, the new AWS Asia Pacific (Jakarta) Region is part of AWS’s continued investment in the region for many years.

With three Availability Zones (AZ), AWS Asia Pacific (Jakarta) Region provides our customers and partners the ability to run workloads, store data securely, and innovate faster, locally. Developers, Startups, and enterprises, as well as government, education, and nonprofit organizations can start using the Jakarta Region to run applications, and serve end-users across Indonesia with lower latency while retaining full ownership and control over their content.
